Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping wrapped up his two-day visit to Qatar Tuesday and headed to Yemen to continue his five-nation Asia tour.

Qatar is the four leg of Xi's ongoing trip, which has taken him to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Mongolia and Saudi Arabia.

Xi was seen off by Crown Prince Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani at the airport.

During his visit in Qatar, Xi met with Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamadbin Khalifa al-Thani and held talks with Crown Prince Tamim.

Xi and Crown Prince Tamim also presented the signing ceremonies of a series of bilateral cooperation agreements on labor, shipping, tourism and petrochemicals.

He also met with Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jasim bin Jabir al-Thani, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Industry Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiya Monday afternoon.

During a meeting with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Abdul Rahman al-Attiya on Monday afternoon, Xi said China is willing to enhance cooperation with the GCC and its members in such fields as politics, economy and culture.

On Tuesday morning, Xi visited Qatar's Ras Laffan Industrial City, which hosts an industrial port and several industrial facilities.
