Chinese President Hu Jintao met in Beijing Saturday with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Vladimirovic Putin, who attended the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games on Friday night.
Later, Hu hosted a banquet for Putin at Zhongnanhai, compound of China's central authorities.
