Chinese mainland travel groups will be allowed to visit Israel and French Polynesia starting on Sept. 15, the National Tourism Administration said here on Monday.
By then Chinese mainland travel groups will be allowed to visit95 nations and regions globally.
French Polynesia lies in the southeast of the Pacific Ocean, consisting of five islands. Tahiti is the biggest, with its volcanoes and lagoons popular tourism destinations, said Xiao Dan, the director of the Tahiti tourism promotion bureau in China.
