Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang met in Beijing Tuesday with a delegation from Japan-China Association on Economy and Trade (JCAET), calling on the two sides to continue efforts to promote the bilateral strategic and reciprocal relations to a higher level.
Li spoke highly of the significant contribution the JCAET made to boost bilateral economic and trade cooperation and expressed his appreciation to the help and assistance Japan offered when China suffered a strong earthquake in May.

(Xinhua/Liu Weibing) Li also highlighted the robust growth momentum of the bilateral relations in the recent years, noting that China is willing to further the China-Japan strategic and reciprocal relations to a new height based on the four political documents between the two nations.
He told the Japanese guests that China, which is in its modernization process, has a huge potential for the economic growth and market demand, calling on the two economies to expand cooperation in fields such as trade, investment, energy efficiency, environment, high-tech and SMEs.

JCAET president Fujio Cho pledged further efforts to step up the bilateral economic cooperation in an aim to boost friendship between the two nations.
On the same day, Li also met foreign experts who were here to attend the 24th International Mineral Processing Congress.
