Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao returned to Beijing Friday after attending the UN high-level meeting on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the general debate of the 63rd session of the UN General Assembly.

During his stay in New York, Wen also met with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and foreign leaders, broadly engaged with the U.S. people from many walks of life.

Wen also met with representatives from Chinese missions overseas, overseas Chinese, Chinese students and Chinese-funded institutions, as well as local media.
