A delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) left here on Wednesday for a good-will visit to India at the invitation of Sonia Gandhi, president of the Indian National Congress.

The delegation is led by Yu Zhengsheng, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee.
