Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende concluded his seven-day official visit to China and left east China's Shanghai Municipality in Shanghai on Wednesday.
Invited by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, Balkenende attended the seventh summit of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) held in Beijing from Oct. 24 to 25.
During his visit in Shanghai, Balkenende also inaugurated the designed model for the Dutch pavilion for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo.
