China and the Arab nations should further enhance their friendly relations, the head of the Chinese-Arab Friendship Association (CAFA) said on Saturday.
The traditional friendship between China and the Arab nations is growing steadily, Tomur Dawamat, also head of a Chinese goodwill delegation, told a welcoming dinner in the Lebanese capital Beirut.
Tomur Dawamat, who arrived here Saturday, said friendly and cooperative ties between China and Lebanon have also expanded remarkably.
He added that the CAFA, which aims to promote friendly ties between China and Arab nations, will make further efforts to boost bilateral relations in such fields as politics, trade, economy and culture.
The Chinese delegation arrived here after attending the second China-Arab Friendship Conference in Damascus, capital of Syria.
