Chinese state councilor to visit Britain, Switzerland |

State Councilor Liu Yandong will pay an official visit to Britain and Switzerland from Nov. 16 to 26, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said Saturday.
"Liu will make the visit at the invitation of the British government and president of the Swiss Confederation Pascal Couchepin," Qin said.
Liu will also attend the 48th International Education Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Geneva.
