The "Italian Campania-Beijing-Zhejiang Science & Trade Week" kicked off in Naples Tuesday to showcase China's latest science and technology as well as provide a platform for bilateral scientific and trade cooperation.

The science and trade week features several displays including the Beijing Olympic Science exhibition and China's dinosaur exhibition. It also involves a series of scientific and trade cooperation talks between the two sides on issues such as scientific research, textiles, biomedicine, food safety, airspace technology, energy and environment.

Chinese Ambassador to Italy Sun Yuxi and several Italian science and trade officials of the Campania region attended the opening ceremony. They expressed the belief that the event would further expand science and trade cooperation between the two countries.
