Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao on Thursday sent a message of condolences to his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh concerning the coordinated terrorist attacks that killed more than 100 people in India's financial capital of Mumbai.

In his message, Wen said the Chinese government strongly condemned Wednesday's attacks, noting that the government is firmly opposed to terrorism of any form.

On behalf of the Chinese government and himself, Wen expressed deep grief for the victims of the attacks and conveyed sincere condolences to the relatives of the victims and those wounded in the violence.

Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi on Thursday also sent a condolences message to his Indian counterpart Pranab Mukherjee.
