Jia said it is in the fundamental interest of the two countries and their peoples to further consolidate bilateral traditional friendship and enhance their reciprocal cooperation.

The CPC and the Chinese government attach great importance to the relations with Laos and treasure bilateral friendship, said Jia, who arrived here earlier Monday on an official goodwill visitas Sisavath's guest.

Jia said the CPPCC will strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the LFNR so as to push forward the growth of bilateral good neighborly friendship and cooperation.

Sisavath said he hoped that both sides will continue high-level contacts and strengthen personnel training and exchanges.

He said Laos and China enjoy mutual trust and support, and he believed that this visit will help promote bilateral traditional friendship, unity and comprehensive cooperation.
