Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao on Tuesday said the country is willing to work with international community on fighting against terrorism.

Citing the Mumbai attacks "astonishing", Liu said that Chinese government had expressed sympathy and condolence to Indian government and victims.

"Chinese government is firmly against all forms of terrorism, and ready to cooperate with international community including India to fight against terrorism," he said.

"China hopes relevant sides to find out truth of the Mumbai terrorist attacks through investigation as soon as possible," Liu added.
