Chinese State Councilor to visit U.S. for strategic talks |

Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo will pay a working visit to the United States from Dec. 10-17.
He will co-chair the sixth strategic dialogue with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte, announced Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao here on Friday.
The fifth Sino-U.S. strategic dialogue was held in China in January 2008. The two sides agreed to hold the sixth dialogue within this year in the United States.
The China-U.S. Strategic Dialogue was launched in August 2005 in accordance with the consensus of the two heads of state.
