A reception was held here on Thursday to mark the 30th anniversary of China-Djibouti diplomatic relations.
China and Djibouti have seen the stable development of bilateral relations, increasing mutual trust, mutual support in international affairs and fruitful cooperation since ties were established, Feng Zuoku, vice president of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, told the reception.
He said Djibouti was a trusted friend and China highly appreciated its adherence to the one-China policy and support for China on issues such as human rights. China hoped Djibouti would make great achievements in economic development.
Mouktar Hassan Houssein, first counselor of Djibouti to China, said that Djibouti was satisfied with the brotherhood between the two countries and was grateful for China's support in various fields.
Houssein said that Djibouti will continue to abide by the one-China policy and support China's reunification course.
