China is willing to see the United States strengthen relations with other countries in the world, and hopes President Barack Obama administration's foreign policy would help maintain world peace, stability and development.

Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Jiang Yu made the remarks at a regular press conference here Thursday in response to a reporter's question on the inaugural speech of Obama, who took the oath of office on Jan. 20.
