A delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Saturday kicked off a tour to three South Asian nations -- Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Liu Hongcai, deputy head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, as a representative of the CPC, will attend the eighth congress of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist) at the invitation of the latter.

Liu and his delegation will also pay goodwill visits to Bangladesh and Pakistan at the invitation of Bangladesh Awami League and Pakistan People's Party.
