Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo left Beijing for an official visit to Vietnam on Wednesday, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

At the invitation of Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Gia Khiem, Dai will visit Vietnam from March 18 to 21 and co-chair the third meeting of a guiding committee for Sino-Vietnamese cooperation with Khiem during the visit.
