Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met South Korean President Lee Myung-bak in Pattaya on Saturday.
The two leaders, who were here for the summit between the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) summit and China, Japan and South Korea and the East Asian summit, met at Dusit Thani hotel around noon time. The meetings were scheduled to be convened on Saturday and Sunday, but delayed by anti-government protests.
During the meeting, Wen said China and South Korea has kept frequent contacts, and the bilateral relations are getting closer.

Lee Myung-bak agreed that friendly cooperative relations between the two countries have been established and political mutual trust has been strengthened.
