Angolan Prime Minister Antonio Paulo Kassoma and the Chinese ambassador in Luanda on Wednesday discussed China's financial aid to Angola's housing and agricultural projects.
After talks, Chinese Ambassador Zhang Bolun told reporters tha tthe two sides analyzed the implementation of the two projects. The amount of funding will be decided after both sides examine the final feasibility study, he said.
Zhang said China is also interested in cooperating with Angola in the construction of seaports, airports, bridges, telecommunication and agriculture projects.
Angolan Minister of Urbanization and Environment Jose Ferreira and the prime minister's economic advisor Antonio Furtado were among officials attended the meeting.
Kassoma is the coordinator of the newly-established National Commission for Urbanization and Housing.
Last week, the Angolan government held the First National Conference on Housing in the capital Luanda. Angolan President Jose Eduardo dos Santos promised at the meeting that the government will create all necessary conditions to improve the people's living standards and well-being.
Since the 27-year civil war ended in Angola seven years ago, the Angolan government has made increasing efforts to revive the national economy and carried out a nationwide economic reconstruction program.
