Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met here Wednesday with Petro Symonenko, first secretary of the Communist Party of Ukraine.

During the meeting, the two sides agreed to deepen inter-party exchanges of friendship in all fields.

Wang said a closer inter-party ties would give an important impetus to the development of the state-to-state relations.

They also had a comprehensive exchange of views on international and regional issues of common concern.
