The Communist Party of China (CPC) would like to continue exchanges and cooperation with the Communist Party of Ukraine, a senior CPC official said here Wednesday.
Wang Gang, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, hailed the Sino-Ukrainian relationship during a meeting with Petro Symonenko, first secretary of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
The two nations have increased mutual political trust and cooperation and maintained close coordination in international and regional affairs, said Wang, also vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
Symonenko said his party would like to promote exchanges with the CPC to support the healthy growth of bilateral relations.
Symonenko and his delegation came to China at the invitation of the CPC.
