Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan met with members of the International Advisory Council of the China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) here Thursday afternoon.
The international advisors are in Beijing to attend the seventh session of the council.
Wang and the international advisors exchanged views on the situation of global economy and finance.
The International Advisory Council of CBRC provides strategic policy consultation for the banking regulatory body of China. Its membership consists of financial experts from various countries and regions in the world, including former chairman of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission Andrew Sheng.
