Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi will pay an official visit to Canada from June 21 to 23 at the invitation of his Canadian counterpart Lawrence Cannon, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang announced Thursday at a regular press conference.

After the visit, Yang will attend the UN Conference on the World Financial and Economic Crisis and Its Impact on Development to be held from June 24 to 26 in New York, Qin added.
