Visiting Chinese President Hu Jintao and Slovakian President Ivan Gasparovic met in Bratislava, capital of Slovakia, Thursday for talks, which will be dominated by discussions about bilateral cooperation.
The two leaders will also exchange views on major regional and international issues, said Chinese diplomats.
In Bratislava, President Hu will meet other Slovakian leaders to exchange views on enlarging bilateral cooperation, too.

The China-Slovakia ties have entered a phase of rapid development in recent years. The two sides have increased mutual political trust and share a stronger aspiration to expand pragmatic cooperation in the economic and trade sectors.
Slovakia, one of the fastest growing member states in the European Union (EU), and China, the biggest developing country in the world, share a solid foundation for further cooperation.

Hu, currently on a three-nation trip, flew to Bratislava from Moscow earlier in the day after concluding a state visit to Russia.
Before the visit, he attended a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and a top-level meeting of BRIC countries -- Brazil, Russia, India and China, in Russia's Yekaterinburg.
