Chinese President Hu Jintao met his French counterpart Nicolas Sarkozy in New York on Monday to discuss the development of bilateral ties.
The two leaders met in London on April 1 this year, and exchanged views on bilateral ties and tackling the global financial crisis.
The Chinese and French leaders are meeting on the sidelines of a series of UN meetings.
