Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo met with former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger in Beijing on Sunday.

They discussed Sino-U.S. relations as well as issues of common concern at the Diaoyutai State Guest House in Beijing.
Kissinger, who paved way for the establishment of China-U.S. diplomatic relations in the 1970s, was here for a bi-track dialogue with Chinese diplomats and researchers.
