DPRK issues stamps marking anniversary of founding of New China

The Democratic People's Republicof Korea (DPRK) has issued a new stamp sheetlet marking the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, theofficial KCNA news said on Saturday.

"The 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China" in Korean and Chinese and the national flag and emblem of China are printed on the sheetlet.

The stamps carried by the sheetlet show the oil painting of Chinese President Hu Jintao, China's national stadium and the National Center for the Performing Arts.

This year marked the 60th anniversary of China-DPRK relations and the "Year of China-DPRK Friendship." The sheetlet is one of the events marking the friendship year.
