Several rockets slammed into Kabul embassy district on Wednesday morning, one of them landing near the Chinese Embassy. The embassy building has not been destroyed and there were no casualties, according to Chinanews.com.
At present the Chinese embassy in Afghanistan has launched an emergency response mechanism.
Police said militants launched a terrorist attack against a U.N. apartment building. Police and militants exchanged fierce fire killing 7, including 5 UN staff, and wounding 5. In addition, 3 militants were killed.
