The rapid progress that China achieved in social and economic development is an inspiration for all developing countries in the world, said a Nepali journalist in an interview with Xinhua on Tuesday.
"It is an inspiring development that how such a huge country with 1.3 billion people has erected itself as one of the largest economic giants in the world," said Binju Sitaula who recently returned from China.
Sitaula spent one month in China attending a seminar called "Seminar on Chinese Culture and Economy" sponsored by Ministry of Commerce of People's Republic of China and organized by Nanchang University.
"Development in China is well planned. It seems like the concept of industrialization and urbanization in China is well planned," she said.
Sitaula who visited China for the first time said that she was fascinated with wide roads, tall buildings, open markets and amiable people.
"Even though China is still developing, it is leading world's economy leaving other developed countries behind, this sort of progress within short time period is inspiring."
"It is crystal clear that most of the western countries envy China's development. China is holding 'win-win' policy in cooperating with other countries," Sitaula said.
