Nepali PM meets secretary of CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee

Nepal's Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal met here Saturday with Zhao Leji, member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and also secretary of the CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee at his official resident.
In their talks, Zhao Leji expressed his thanks to Nepali government's long-term assistance and cooperation on Tibet-related issues.
Zhao Leji said China and Nepal share long friendship. Chinese CPC and the government view the bilateral relations from a strategic height and long-term perspective.
China wishes to work together with Nepal to push forward comprehensive partnership of cooperation of the two countries and the Chinese side will provide necessary support and assistance to Nepal in its peace, stability and development, Zhao added.
For his part, the Nepali prime minister said that his country would adhere to the one-China policy, adding that Nepal would never allow any force to use Nepal's territory to conduct anti- China activities.
At the invitation of the Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist- Leninist), a delegation led by Zhao Leji arrived here on Saturday to pay a four-day good-will visit to Nepal.
