Bocelli sang the famous song, Nessun Dorma, against a changing background from the night to dawn, featured by a bright, full moon hanging upon high waterfall and a landscape of several European landmarks.
When the blind singer finished the performance, the girl in traditonal Chinese red dress handed the Expo magot Haibao to him. Bocelli then hugged and held up the little girl.
The singer, born in 1958, is known for intense and soft vocals at high pitch.
