Wu would attend at the invitation of the Colombian government, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu on Thursday.
Juan Manuel Santos, candidate for the ruling Social Party of National Unity, was elected as new president of Colombia on June 20 for the term 2010-2014.
Santos, 58, gained about 69 percent of the vote in run-off elections.
