The China International Trade Promotion Committee released a report, on January 15th in Chengdu, indicating that International Exhibition giants accelerated entrance into the Chinese market in 2007.
The China International Trade Promotion Committee published this report on the same day as The Fourth China International Exhibition Economic Cooperation Forum. According to the report, International Conference and Exhibition giants such as Cologne and Hanover Reed, that have been in the Chinese market for years, continued to expand their business in China in 2007.
In addition, some exhibition giants taking on a wait-and-see attitude a few years ago have made haste to enter the Chinese market in 2007. Take the Nuremberg Exhibition Company, which ranks sixth in Europe, as an example: it set up its first wholly-owned overseas subsidiary in May of 2007 in Shanghai.
