Airbus will deliver 265 airplanes to China in the coming three years, according to a report from Chinanews.com. The 265 aircraft will include 75 units in 2008, 90 in 2009, and 100 in 2010.
Airbus delivered 69 aircraft to the Chinese mainland in 2007. By the end of January 2008, 393 airplanes were in service in China: 13 times as much as in 1995, and accounting for 37 percent of total airplanes in service.
Currently, Airbus has received 178 aircraft orders from China, to be used for its national reserves. Airbus predicts that China's aviation industry will grow 11.1 percent annually from 2007 to 2011.
China and India will become the countries with the fastest growing aviation industries in the world.
