Chinese shares finished higher Tuesday, with the key stock index up 0.09 percent on bargain hunting and regional markets rallies.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index ended a two-day losing streak by edging up 3.43 points to 3,629.62. It tumbled as much as 2.9 percent at one point before bargain hunting pushed it up 0.9 percent to the intra day high of 3,659.21.
The Shenzhen Component Index rose 329.04 points, or 2.51 percent, to 13,427.29. Source:Xinhua
