China has completed delivery of two domestically manufactured Xinzhou-60 passenger aircraft to Santa Cruz City, Bolivia, said sources with the manufacturer.

The delivery brought the total number of export of Xinzhou-60 planes by Xi'an Aircraft Industry Company (XAC) to 13.

Xinzhou-60 is an updated model on China-made YUN-7. The two newly-delivered planes are powered by Pratt & Whitney PW127C turboprops, and refurbished with new sets of operation systems, warning systems and instrument boards in pilot cabin, said XAC.

The turboprop aircraft can carry 50 to 60 passengers. It sells for about 100 million yuan (about 12.5 million U.S. dollars).

As a subsidiary of China Aviation Industry Corporation, XAC has exported Xinzhou-60 planes to global markets such as Zambia, the Republic of Congo, Laos and Zimbabwe since 2006. It has clinched orders for 118 units of the plane model from home and abroad.
