The tenth Beijing International Auto Show will open on April 20 in the new hall of the Beijing International Exhibition Center. Until now, more than 2,100 manufacturers from 18 countries and regions have participated, including the United States, Japan, South Korea, France, Germany and Italy. The total exhibition area is over 180,000 square meters; and once again set a new record in Asia's automobile exhibitions.
Last year, China's automobile production and sales both surpassed 8.8 million vehicles; and this year, it is expected to exceed 10 million which will make China the second largest auto producer and auto market. This has made multinational auto corporations quite excited about the Beijing International Auto Show, as a way to compete with China's domestic manufacturers for the world's fastest growing auto market.
