China Customs has been awarded "China's most efficient intellectual property law enforcement organ" recently by the Quality Brands Protection Committee. It is the fourth consecutive year that China Customs has won the award.

The Quality Brands Protection Committee (QBPC), under the China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (CAEFI), is an IPR protection organization that is comprised of over 180 multinational companies.

"Awards for Best Cases of IPR Protection" has been organized yearly since 2002.

The cases of Ningbo Customs' using risk analysis and seizing fake NIKE and JORDAN sports shoes" and Huangpu Customs' seizing counterfeit DURACELL batteries" won Best Cases for IPR Protection for 2007-2008.
