As local climate turning increasing warmer, Tibet tour has ushered in the golden period after the region's sightseeing sites reopened to Chinese tourists during the Labor Day holiday from May 1st.
The month of May represents the most ideal tourist season in Tibet due to its pleasant spring weather and higher oxygen contents in the air before the rainy season sets in. The number of visitors via Lanzhou to Tibet have kept increasing and the number of tourists also have rebounded.
The attendance rate of the passenger trains from Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing and Chengdu to Lhasa has also risen by more than 70 percent from some 30 percent earlier.
The Tibet Tourism Bureau specified that those passengers to buy tickets to travel to Tibet have to show their identification (ID) cards and the real-name registration system have to be adopted from May 1st so as to better regulate the market.
