The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index closed at 3,604.76 points, dived 19.47 points, or 0.54 percent, from the previous close.
The Shenzhen Component Index on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange closed at 13,197.59 points, down 116.79 points, or 0.88 percent, from last Friday.
The Hushen 300 Index reflecting the performance of China's Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges closed at 3,914.07 points, sliding 22.05 points, or 0.56 percent, from the previous close.
