China Southern Airlines Co., Ltd. ranks fourth in the global aviation industry and first in Asia, transporting 56.522 million person-trips throughout the year 2007, according to the latest statistics released by the International Air Transport Association.
According to the new rankings this year, China Southern Airlines is the only Asian airline among the world's top five airlines.
China Southern Airlines now flies to 841 destinations, connecting 162 countries and regions including major cities all over the world.
China Southern Airlines has maintained the highest safety record in China's civil aviation industry with 4.967 million hours of safe flights by the end of this May.
