China's northernmost civilian airport, the Mohe Airport, began operations on Wednesday, June 18. The airport's runway extends a length of 2,100 meters and 45 meters wide.
The northernmost airport was designed to handle 120,000 passengers a year, with a terminal covering 2,000 square meters.
The route linking Beijing, Harbin and Mohe has opened.
