The city's industry saw a year-on-year increase of 4.2 percent, 23 percentage points lower than expected, according to information released at a press conference by the Chengdu Provincial Government.

By June 27, 3,415 above-scale industries, among 3,479 in Chengdu, had resumed operations and the production capacity had reached 101.4 percent compared with the period prior the earthquake.
