Hong Kong stocks fell 415.46 points, or 2.00 percent, to finish Tuesday's morning trading at 20,378.81.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index lost 354.8 points, or 1.71 percent, to open at 20,439.47 on Tuesday morning and widened its losses slightly thereafter.
