Hong Kong stocks further advanced 439.74 points, or 3.41 percent, to finish Wednesday's morning session at 13,318.34, extending its gains on the Federal Reserve's new economic programs worth 800 billion U.S. dollars.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 111.75 points, or 0.87 percent, to open at half-day low of 12,990.35 and soon climbed above the 13,000 level and widened its gains towards morning closing.
