The development and reform work next year should give priority to expanding domestic demand as well as boosting stable and fast economic growth, said Zhang Ping, chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission on Friday at the National Development and Reform Work Conference.

Zhang demanded that, with optimizing the structure as the premise, investment scales should be expanded and all-out efforts made to stimulate consumption, especially public consumption, to ensure the smooth progress of economic operations and regulations.
