Hong Kong stocks rose 37.29 points, or 0.24 percent, to close at 15,497.81 on Thursday.

Turnover dropped to 52.26 billion HK dollars (6.74 billion U.S. dollars) from Wednesday's 56.41 billion HK dollars (7.28 billion U. S. dollars).
