Slovenian President Janez Drnovsek's new book, entitled "Pogovori" (Dialogues) was published in the capital Ljubljana on Tuesday, which is his third foray into personal growth and spirituality.
Drnovsek said the number of reporters and fans attending the launch of "Pogovori" promised good times for the book, the Slovenian news agency STA reported, adding that the book was published by Mladinska knjiga.
Coming after the runaway success of two previous forays into personal growth, Drnovsek's third effort consists of twelve dialogues on 150 pages, and deals with issues like death, awareness and goodness.
Asked how he found the time to write books, Drnovsek said that time had become plentiful after he stopped watching TV and reading newspapers. He did not plan to write "Pogovori", explaining that it was just a matter of inspiration.
Drnovsek's first book, "Misli o zivljenju in zavedanju" (Thoughts on Life and Awareness), has been sold in over 15,500 copies and was also translated into Croatian and Bosnian.
His second title, "Bistvo sveta" (The Essence of the World), meanwhile sold more than 5,500 copies in Slovenia alone, Mladinskaknjiga has said.
