Sudanese vice president appreciates Syria's stand towards Sudan |

Sudanese Vice President Ali Osman Mohamed Taha on Wednesday expressed his appreciation for Syria's position towards Khartoum and the Sudanese causes in regional and international arenas.
He made the remarks during a meeting with visiting Syrian Prime Minister Mohammed Naji Atri, the official SUNA news agency reported.
Taha underlined the close relations between Sudan and Syria and the need to boost bilateral cooperation in various fields.
For his part, the Syrian prime minister reviewed the similarities of positions of the two countries and the challenges they were facing and the achievements they had accomplished despite foreign threats and plots.
He also said the close relations between the two countries had to be used in the interests of the people and the region, noting that the Sudanese-Syrian relations would be a model of the bilateral relationship.
The Syrian prime minister arrived in Khartoum Wednesday morning on a three-day official visit to Sudan.
